Over the years I’ve had the pleasure of photographing some outstanding artists. Rei Hotoda has recently been awarded the prestigious post of Assistant Conductor with the Dallas Symphony Orchestra – one of the top symphonies in the USA. I was honored to photograph Rei for her recent solo album (Apparitions) as well as for a variety of PR applications. The image posted here is one she used for her web site. She was a gracious and very engaged and creative subject – an absolute joy to photograph. It didn’t matter what I suggested, she was game to give it a try…right down to going barefoot in an extremely grungy industrial setting. All the best in Dallas, Rei!
